This help guide will explain how to register your Business and create your Business Listing within the ifurn.com.au Business Directory.
1. To create a Business Listing in the ifurn.com.au Business Directory, click on ‘Directory’ underneath ‘List my Business’ on the Home page.
2. A Registration Form will appear for you to fill in. This form is fairly straight forward and asks for you to add your name and business details. You will also be asked to select a password which you should note down somewhere so you don’t forget it. You will need it to login a bit later. Once completed, click the orange ‘continue’ button which is located further down the page. If your registration has not been successful, there will be a 'red' error message which appears near the top of the page advising what needs to be changed.
3. An on screen message will now appear confirming success of your registration. Shortly afterwards, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. You will not be able to login and create your listing until the email has been received. Clicking the orange ‘Continue’ button from here, will return you to the Home page.
4. You will shortly receive an email message confirming your request to register in the site. Check your email inbox. Follow the email instruction to 'click here' and you will be brought to the following page. As indicated by the orange arrow, login here with your email address and the password you selected on the registration form, then click the orange ‘Sign In’ button.
5. You will then be presented with this page. There are options here to change your account information, your password, get help or logout. You can also create or access your Business Listing(s). To create your first listing, click on ‘create listing’ as shown here by the orange arrow.
6. The next page will ask for your listing details. First, select your required listing type. A 'Free listing' will provide for your Business name, a short description and contact details. A 'Premium listing' provides for your Business name and logo, a full and detailed business description, 4 photographs of your products and links to your own website (if applicable). Premium listings cost $99 annually. Logo's must be in a .jpg format for uploading and photos will need to be resized to a maximum of 200 pixels wide by 180 pixels high for best results. Follow the forms requirements and fill in your Business address and contact details, phone numbers and an email address, all as you would like them to be displayed in your listing. After this click the orange ‘Continue’ button in the bottom right corner of the page.
7. After clicking continue you will receive an on screen message confirming that you have successfully created a Business Listing. If your listing has not been successful, there will be a 'red' message which appears near the top of the page advising what is required. Clicking Continue from here will return you to the following page. From here you are able to log out and will then be returned to the Home page.
8. You will shortly receive another email confirming that you have created a Business Listing. Check your email inbox. We ask our Members to allow 24 hours for their listing to appear on the website, although most will be approved and displayed on the site within an hour or two.
9. To check your Business listing, click on Business Directory from the Home page as follows:
10. From here, you can login as an existing member, join up as a new member and also search through the Business Directory to find your listing. Check over the details in your listing and make sure it is displayed to your liking. If you are not happy with how your listing appears or if you find an error you wish to correct, click the 'back' button near the top of the page and then the 'Member login' button on the right. Login with your details and then find the 'edit' button on the next page which will take you to your listing and allow you to make the changes you require. You can make as many changes to your listing as you like.
