Manufacturer Help

This guide explains the process for registering your Business and uploading your product images & details into 'ishop' - the ifurn online furniture shop.

1. To register click on the ‘ishop’ tab beneath ‘List my Business’ on the home page.

2. A registration form will appear for you to fill in. It is fairly straight forward and requires your Business contact details, phone numbers, address and email address. You may also upload your logo if you have one. Make a note of the Username and Password that you choose, as you will need these in order to login a bit later. You will also need to click the small ‘agreement’ box which you will see underneath the Terms & Conditions. Click the orange ‘continue’ button to proceed. If you find that you remain on the same page, check for a red message appearing near the top of the page which will advise you of any correction you need to make to your registration form, then click ‘continue’ again.

3. You will now receive an on screen message confirming your successful Business Registration. Clicking ‘continue’ from here will return you to the Home Page.

4. Following successful registration, your login and password will be enabled by ifurn.com.au Administration. Most new registrations are enabled within half an hour, but please allow up to 24 hours for this to take place. You will then receive a ‘Welcome’ email in confirmation and this indicates that you will now be able to login as a Manufacturer and begin uploading your product details and images.

5. From the Home Page, click on the ‘Manufacturer Login’ tab in the Menu at the top of the screen.

 

6. The login screen will appear. Enter your username and password as selected on your registration form.

7. When you have logged in, the following screen will come up. If it doesn’t come up immediately, you can get to it by clicking on the ‘Catalog’ menu item at the left of the screen. It contains the categories under which you can enter your products. Click on the small yellow folder next to your chosen category to continue. If we do not have a category relating to your products, please email us and we can create one.

 

8. The next screen contains the sub-categories under which you can enter your products. Click on the small yellow folder next to your chosen sub-category to continue. Again, if we do not have a sub-category relating to your products, please email us and we can create one.

9. This screen will contain all products in the chosen subcategory. In the case below the subcategory is currently empty. Click on the ‘New Product’ button to start entering your new product.

 

10. Follow the steps below to enter the details of your product on the next screen and click on the ‘Preview’ button in the bottom right corner when complete.

A. Click on the ‘In Stock’ button. If your product is made to order you can explain that in the Product Description box.

B. Date Available: leave this field blank.

C. Products Name: enter the name of the products as you would like it to appear to customers.

D. Tax Class: Select GST

E. Products Price (Net): enter price without GST

F. Products Price (Gross): price including GST will show automatically

G. Products Description: Type in a description of your product up to 100 words.

H. Timber/finish: click the small ‘v’ for a drop down menu to appear and choose an option. If you require a timber or finish that is not specified here, click on ‘Catalog’ in the top left menu, select ‘timber/finish’ and click the ‘insert’ button to add your own selection.

I. Products Quantity: Put a ‘1’ in here.

J. Products Model: Enter your model number here or leave blank if not applicable.

K. Products Image: Click on the browse button to bring up the file search window, then find and select your image. Ensure your images have been resized to 300 px wide X 240 px high for best results.

L. Products URL: If you have your own website, you can enter the web address here e.g. www.ifurn.com.au.

M. Products Weight: Leave blank.

Now click on the ‘Preview’ button which is in the bottom right hand corner of the page.

 

11. The next screen will show your images, price and description. Click on the insert button to save the item to your catalog. Click on the back button to go back to the previous screen and make any changes. NOTE: Do not use the back button up in the top left corner of your browser to do this as you will lose the information you already have there and you will have to put it all in again.

 

12. On clicking insert, you are returned to the sub-category screen with your newly added product in the list. That’s it! Continue with further products by clicking ‘New Product’ again and following the instructions in step 10.

13. Your product will now appear in ishop under the subcategory in which you entered it.

 

14. Here’s how the product will look when selected by a customer.
